Features · Ask AI
Got an HR question? Ask it where you are.
A floating assistant on every screen of the platform. It answers from a reference Ask Your HR maintains, says which Act or section the answer comes from, and tells you when the answer needs a person.
What it does
Everyday questions, grounded answers
Which breaks a shift earns, which leave types exist, how to add a worksite — answered from the platform guide and a New Zealand compliance reference, each entry with its source and the date it was last reviewed.
It says when it does not know
Anything outside its reference — parental leave entitlements, trial periods, redundancy, notice periods — gets a plain "I don't have grounded material on that" and a pointer to employment.govt.nz or an Ask Your HR consultant. It never answers from general knowledge.
It cannot see your staff
It is given only the question you type and the reference. No employee records, balances, timesheets or documents. For "who, how much, when" about your own people, it points you to the screen that shows it.
Nothing is kept
The conversation lives in your browser tab and is gone when you close it. AskHR360 stores no transcript.
A person for the serious things
A notifiable incident, a grievance or a dismissal in progress gets the grounded basics and a firm recommendation to talk to Ask Your HR's consultants, and to WorkSafe for a notifiable event.
Worth knowing
The limits, stated plainly, so nothing on this page says more than the software does.
- General guidance, not legal advice. Every employment-law answer ends by saying so.
- Questions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) and handled under its terms, so do not type in sensitive personal details.
- New Zealand law only. Asked about an Australian employment, it says its reference does not govern it and points to fairwork.gov.au.
- It does no tax or pay calculations; your payroll system stays authoritative.
- Ask Your HR switches it on for the platform. Until then the button says so.
