Safety reporting your whole team will actually use.

Anyone can report a hazard or an incident in seconds, from the app or from a poster on the wall. The registers an inspector expects — risks, permits, PPE, inductions, contractors — are in the same place.

What it does

  • Report from a phone, or from a poster

Injury, illness, near miss, property damage or hazard, reported by any staff member. Print a QR poster per site and a visitor, contractor or passer-by can report with no login and no name, with photos. Those reports wait in a triage queue until a person verifies them.

  • Notifiable events spelled out

The form says when an event looks notifiable and shows the regulator's duty, phone number and online link. A notifiable event alerts the safety team with site-preservation guidance, and you record when the regulator was told. Marking one up or down afterwards needs a written basis and is logged.

  • Investigate and close out

Investigation notes and root cause (5 Whys, fishbone) are encrypted. Corrective actions have an owner and a due date and are chased when overdue. Every incident has a WorkSafe and ACC data pack you can download.

  • Inspections that create the work

Checklist templates on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual schedule. A failed item needs a note and becomes a corrective action, owned and dated, on its own.

  • The registers you are expected to keep

A risk register with a before-and-after matrix, permits to work for confined space, hot work, heights, electrical and excavation, a chemicals register with SDS review dates, PPE issued with replacement dates, site inductions, visitor sign-in and a muster list built from who is actually on site.

  • Contractors with their own door

Contractors sign the site induction and your policy themselves, check in and out of the sites they are engaged for, see a redacted site pack and report hazards into the same register. A company whose recorded insurance has lapsed cannot be approved or given a site engagement.

  • Injury rates you can defend

Total recordable and lost-time frequency rates from approved timesheet hours. Below a sensible floor of hours worked, no rate is shown at all, because a single injury would make the number meaningless.

Worth knowing

The limits, stated plainly, so nothing on this page says more than the software does.

  • AskHR360 guides and records. Nothing is filed with WorkSafe or any regulator automatically.
  • A contractor's insurance is checked when the company and the engagement are approved. Cover that lapses afterwards does not stop them checking in.
  • Safety data sheets have a review date on the register, but the file itself cannot be attached yet.
  • Reminders cover inspections, corrective actions and contractor documents. Risk reviews, SDS reviews, PPE replacement and induction expiry are shown on screen but not alerted.
  • Incident alerts are in the app, plus a daily digest email; the QR poster report waits in the triage queue rather than sending a message.
